[REQ.] Renewed --> Lister option: FitImage

Post by *Lesmo16 »

I like to request an option for the lister.
Additional to <F> "Fit image to window",
I'd like to have <C> "Center image in window".

Only real plugins are able to serve centered images.
That isn't possible with addons like xnView.
Therefor this request. :wink:

@ghisler(Author):
Christian, this is the 3rd time this thread is on top, so please give a statement about it.

The very most of user questions are anwered by the great TC forum community,
but answering feature requests and bug reports must be your task IMO.

I will consider it. Some plugins seem to support centering already, though.

Plugins yes, but not images you get through IrfanView / XnView.

You are not forced to press the C key. It should work for Irfanview/XNView as well.

Hm, I don't think so ... otherwise Christian wouldn't consider, but tell how to manage it.

So Lefteous, if you have a solution - please explain ... :wink:

I would be quite happy, if you could explain how to center xnView served images in the lister (QuickView) without pressing C.

Sounds like a misunderstanding. I never claimed it's possible to center images anyhow with or without pressing the C key.
I just ment the new feature which is not yet implemented should work for Lister plugins and Irfanview/XnView. If you don't like it you don't have to press C.
