Should TC append '_' to names if rename mask is "*_.*&q

Select two files, press Shift+F6 and enter template "*_.*". TC leaves filename unchanged. Is it correct? Or TC should append "_" to filename?

BTW if I specify rename template "*.*_" (or "*_.*_"), TC will append "_" to extension.

Yes, it's intentional. Maybe it will be changed in a later version, but not in 7.55.

Thanks for answer.

Just intresting - if I execute command ren filename.ext *_.*, OS will rename file to filename.ext_ but I think that more logically is to rename file to filename_.ext.
