Change number of lines below the cursor at screen bottom

Post by *AxelSVK »

Hi,

is there a way, how to change number of shown lines at the bottom of the page below the cursor?
Cursor is always on the second line from the bottom of the list. During reviewing of the file list i need to show more than 1 following file.

Thanks ;-)

Do you mean the cursor position after pressing the [PgDn] key? AFAIK, this position cannot be changed. My suggestion is to write a script that sends [PgDn] key and then [Up] key several times to a TC panel. Then you can assign this script to the [PgDn] key.

Not only PgDn. Down arrow too (this is important for me) after coming to the bottom of the screen (list).
I need to see names of 3-4 next files to the file under cursor in every situation and PgDn + PgUp after reviewing the part of the list is very uncomfortable...

Never really thought about it, but it is somewhat annoying.

My Editor has that feature:
If the cursor is at say line 9, and you page down, the cursor will remain at line 9 --- so long as there is enough lines left for a full page down, at the end the cursor will jump to the bottom of the file.

There doesn't appear to be anyway to scroll in TC without the cursor moving or staying exactly where it is (and it disappearing from the screen) when you use the Mouse Scroll Wheel (or grab the ScrollBar).

Cursor is always on the second line from the bottom of the list.
That depends on the height of the list - if you adjust the height of TC's window (not full screen) to not show only a part of the last line, but to show the full height of the last line - then TC scrolls to the last line.

But that doesn't solve you problem - that you want MORE lines shown - sorry.
