-Date of copied dirs not kept using tcmadmin

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-Date of copied dirs not kept using tcmadmin

Post by *Hacker »

Bug report from the Slovak / Czech forum. Actually, not sure if it is a bug or a feature request.
I have the "Copy date and time for the folders" option set and this does not work when copying as administrator (UAC). This is not a bug, but imperfection. Copied folders are set to the current time. Without UAC it works correctly.

Also it works correctly when the "Copy NTFS permissions" option is checked. Could you please add to wincmd.ini something like "CopyNTFSpermissions=1", so it is enabled by default?

Thank you. Martin

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

This function is currently not supported. It may work with CopyNTFSpermissions, because after they are set, the normal user may actually have the right to set the folder date...
