Drive letter B: Icons unit only 'standard' icons?

Post by *foscmgt »

Greetings again, the entire team of Total Commander.

A few days ago I assigned the letter B to a removable USB drive. It works perfectly but I've noticed that the icons for the files from the list, especially executable not appear. It seems to appear standard icons.

When I use the Windows Explorer file browser does not happen, but if I use Total Commander, yes.
Why does this happen? It can be fixed ?

I use Total Commander 8.52a 32-bit Windows XP SP3.
Thanks for your time. Sincerely,

Maybe TC assumes that B is a floppy disk? In this case it would help to change this setting. Open config dialog, page 'Icons' and then uncheck 'EXE/LNK not on floppy disk'.
