A complementary remark to this topic. I changed the registry as advised in relation to Windows 7 at http://www.ghisler.ch/wiki/index.php/Navigation, but at the first attempt it did not work on my machine: Windows 10, 64-bit, i.e. The programe failed to incorporate TC into the Explorer’s "open with" list. I am using the TC portable version 10 of 2021-06-10 and its path contains spaces. This is why at my first attempt I put the path into quotation marks as it is required by many programs when there are spaces in the path. And TC was not integrated with Explorer. At the second attempt when I removed those question marks it appeared that the "open with" option works like a charm. Apparently, the path to the TC should not be put in quotation marks to work.
