I prefer a beta more and TC 7 be refined, that later appear a version named 7.01, 7.01a, 7.02... with bug fixed. (Anyway, I know that it is inevitable)

BTW: Is planed in the roadmap of TC 7 releases candidates? or... the last test version will be a public beta (only curiosity  )
I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

Beta 3 will come soon after the release of TC 6.56, which has become necessary because of a recently found bug.

Thread of the German forum:
http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=13484

... concerning a serious bug at multiple archive in archive structures which leads to data loss of whole directories. (not within the archive but innocent ones from the same drive)

It is a very special case, but fatal if matching.

So DO NOT try to reproduce it until fixed. It may delete system directories by chance ...

Yep... thanks... so all non-german speakers might reproduce it by mistake (with valuable data).

Yes, maybe a little advice about what we shall NOT try to reproduce could be useful.

OK ... so far the author acknowledged a problem by using an external RAR unpacker through TC (no problem with the internal one or the external packer standalone).

Not always, but under rare circumstances of unpacking and repacking archives in one step.

It is rare (undetected until now by thousands of users archiving day and night without problems) but still present at least in 6.55 and 7pb2.

Phew... what a relief... I don't use external packers :D
