unknown: WinCmd.ini, [CustomFields] AutoLoad=1

Post by *StatusQuo »

In WinCmd.ini there is a new value since TC7 rc2 (I think):
WinCmd.ini wrote:[CustomFields]
AutoLoad=1
I can't find any information about this value in this forum, history or help file.
What is this value for?
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?

This key should be present in plugin-specific CustomFields sections (e.g. [CustomFields_TempPanel]), not in usual [CustomFields]!
This key means that the particular set of columns should be automatically loaded when opening this plugin in TC (the value of the key is the number of the columns set). AutoLoad=0 means that the feature is turned off.

I agree that the key should only be present in filesystem plugin CustomFields sections. Nonetheless, I do also have a AutoLoad=15 (not 1) in my main [CustomFields] section.

I have tried differnt ways to provoke that key to be put there, but so far without any luck - so for me it is also a mystery what the key is doing in that section.
