FTP in the INactive panel
Would it be possible to add the following feature:
Open FTP in the inactive-panel.
It is easier when I'm busy in a panel and when I open FTP connection it
uses the another panel. Now I always have to remember to change to the another panel before I open a ftp connection, otherwise I have to search for the directory I was working in.

IMHO I like more this request
[REQ] Open new tab for FTP session
With this method you can decide if a new FTP session will be open in same panel or in a tab.

I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

Hi,
OK, your proposal is the best (I think). What do you think about a checkbox in dialog connection?
With this option is solved both issues. Always you can choose if you want or not a new tab and all users can view how do it. (with shift+Enter or CTRL+enter, many user couldn't know if this feature exist in TC)

A few years earlier I have asked this to Gishler and he would think about it or something. But never heard anything about it and fairly spoken I did never suggested it again then. I think it is quite easy to implement.
Should this thread, I started, not been done in the suggestion forum?
My fault.

Depends on if you are talking about TC7 or TC in general. However, this feature certainly will not make it to TC7 as it requires translation.Should this thread, I started, not been done in the suggestion forum?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
