Folder tabs and FTP folders
If I open FTP connection in a tab, hide it to backround by activating another tab, and then disconnect the connection, I have my FTP tab with remembered FTP folder. Now if I activate the tab with FTP folder - what I see? I see the connection establishing process and the inputbox with "enter password" prompt. But it is wrong behavior! I already saved FTP password! It is very old behavior. And I hope it finally will be fixed in TC 7 release. I think TC should go back in the tab history and show last local directory, or connect to FTP without prompting the password. And I think it will be good to make an INI key to define which way to use when activating a tab with closed FTP connection.
PS: Sorry for my english.
I found not this discuss.
I don't understand - what security reason may be? If I saved the password in connection details - I already made it insecure. In this case I need not to think about security and fear abstract danger. Anyone who get access to my opened TC with FTP folder can connect "insecure" connection from connections list.
Is it possible to ask password only if it was not saved in connection details?

I also could not find any thread with explanation of this behaviour (there are one or two of them with the same request, but no reply from Christian).
I support this request too. What could be a security problem if the password is already stored in the wcx_ftp.ini? Why should I re-enter it again? Of course, I do not talking about connections that are not stored in this file (e.g. created by Ctrl+N), but this problem occurs for all connections, even for ones that are opened via Ctrl+F.

Unfortunately I haven't found a way to do that so far, sorry. The problem is that you may have changed directory in the meantime, so I cannot simply store the saved connection.

If it is no way to store connection - is it possible to go to the latest local directory from the history instead of reconnecting the FTP connection? This way, imho, would be better than current behavior.
But in the future - I think It wold be good to store connection and reconnect it without prompt. Maybe in version 7.1 or some later. I can wait this ^). But current behavior, imho, must be fixed because it is not natural and not logical behavior.
