Opening selected files in external viewer

It seems that when running the external viewer only the file under the cursor will be sent to the viewer. Is there any way of getting this behavior, or is it as I suspect that this can’t currently be done?

To pass several files to viewer, use %L parameter for bar's button.

%P%S can be used as parameter if the editor only supports file loading through command-line.

I must have been unclear. When setting associations for external viewer (Configuration→Edit/View→Associations…) only one file will be passed to the external viewer. Expandos like %L or %P%S don’t get expanded here. In fact, a totally different scheme is used here:

ext=program ^.ext

(from wincmd.ini)

Indeed such parameters cannot be used with external viewers, sorry.
