Strange bugs when cancelling unpacking

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Strange bugs when cancelling unpacking

Post by *DrShark »

1) I cannot cancel unpacking from msi files (msi plus plugin).
'Cancel' button simply not works. It's a bug or wcx interface feature?
2) realy strange behaviour when tryng this:
begining unpacking, then pressing 'Cancel' when progress 0 or just begun.
Make it for several archives one by one.
You'll be surprised: from one archive will be extracted nothing, from next - extracted content from previous archive.
Looks like it's feature of working with %temp%\_tc folder...
3) with some plugins happening crashes when cancelling unpacking:
---------------------------
Total Commander
---------------------------
Access violation at address 7E3800BB. Write of address 04A89000.
Please report this error to the Author,
with a description of what you were doing when this error occured!
Continue execution?

Yes No

1) TC supports it, but all plugins have to support it too!
2) do you get this only with the msi plugin
3) what plugins? The error address isn't in TC itself.

2) I'll create a video and send to youre email;
3) IIRC it was 7z or 7zip. I'll check other plugins.
