Lister position changes every time

(If this has been said before, forgive me. I couldn't find it in the search.)

I've noticed that if I invoke the Lister several times in a row (which is rather frequently) the position on screen it appears is different every time. It seems to move a bit to the right and down each time until the bottom of the Lister hits the bottom of the screen, and then it jumps up to the top left corner. Why is this, and is there some cure?

The reason is to let multiple lister windows visible for putting on top by clicking on it.

You can give it a fixed default position (and size) by saving it !
Just open the Lister with a file and click on menu Options. The last menu item will save the position and size ...
