Argh, now that it's finally stable (no security issues for months) they drop it.

Security patches, if required, will be provided until Sunday 1st February 2009.
So I think an update to phpBB3 will be inevitable.

never change a running system...
at least now the devolopers of phpbb have till February 2009 to develop a rss-feed-mod...

if you update better use a forum that supports rss better and native...
