Hello *.*,
I would like to suggest to be able to define what filetypes to cache thumbnails for.
For instance *.jpg files are extracted fast enough without the cache, however, *.avi files are dead slow. Therefore I would like to cache the thumbnails only for some filetypes, in this case *.avi, while extracting others like *.jpg directly.

Currently this is done by measuring the extraction time, thumbnails which are returned within about 100 ms are not cached. Unfortunately it's not possible yet to configure that limit, sorry.

Yes, I know, thanks, but I do not want to change the limit, but the filetypes for which thumbnails are stored.
Editing the limit would be nice, too, but that is not my request.
