Mapped SFTP Network Drive

Post by *jordi.c »

Hi,

I'm using a dedicated server where I run my torrent client from.

I have one 'watchdir' on this server which load automatically torrents saved in there.

I would like to save directly to that folder while downloading a torrent from my home PC.

AFAIK the only way to do this is giving the mapped network drive (SFTP) a drive letter. Is this possible in TC?

Yours Truly,
Jordi

Hello,
Not that I know of, but as usual, some things come up when googling.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Hi Hacker,

I already installed SFTPdrive, but I prefer not to use another program if applicable.

As you know we can always install other programs for different jobs, but the power of TC is in his plugins/add-ons.

I was using SFTP Drive for a while, but just recently switched to WebDrive. It handles slower connections so much better. I got really sick of waiting a couple minutes each time Total Commander refreshed the drive window. It costs an extra $20, but it's worth it.

Not $20 but an extra $20. ;)
BTW: There is also a free solution mentioned using two programs.
