Always use transfermanager (copy/move)

Post by *mhe »

I know there are lots of hidden settings/switches for wincmd.ini so im thinking maybe this feature already is implemented. If a list of all hidden settings exist, please say so =)

Q: Is there a way to always use the transfermanager when copying/moving files? Id like to always use it, that way i dont have to use the confirmation for drag&drop copy/move operations.

Lastly, great update! Alot of cool features youve done one hell of a job Christian.

Hello Christian, hello TC users,

I was not using this Transfer Manager quite often.

But I have a suggestion that could be useful for some TC users.

What do You think about offering this transfer manager like a "download basket" (such as an icon) where files can be draged&droped (for copying / moving) onto.
This "basket" could be located to the right on top, next to "\","..", "*", "directory history" in TC 6. So it will be visible all the time (or could be switched off by ini setting).
Double click will open the transfer manager.

Files that will be dragged&dropped or shift dragged&dropped will be automatically copied or moved between the two panels respective active tabs.

Best regards
Pete
