Please, allow not finalizing DVDs

Post by *Hammillian7 »

Sorry if this is already commented and for not having time to read the 12 pages of this thread, but it would be very important (at least, for me) that the option of not finalizing the disk worked also for DVDs (the CD/DVD Burner plugin finalizes DVDs even if the option of finalizing is unselected).

Thanks.

Not finalizing DVDs is very important for me too.
Any news about that?

i think both options will be welcome and are important
a. to have virtual volumes (which can be send to external apps via cmd, cli, whatever - that is patched to original file locations somehow...)
b. integrated burner for less tech savvy users
(imho b. is less important if there is a wish for to make tcm reasonably small, maybe offered as separated download?)

Good idea

I surely would pay one more time to have burning capabilitys TC. Of course, TCburner works and I use it on a daily basis. But built in is easier and better. So, I could pay extra for the feature.
Have been stuck on wincmd/tcmd since 1997

He has promised to work on the new plugin version shortly after the release of the new SDK, because he will also adapt his Delphi port of the FoxBurner SDK to version 5 for the foxburner makers. Unfortunately I haven't heard from him since then.

Oh cool! Sounds great, though.
I really loved TC Burner, only culprit was that it couldn't burn and erase
DVDs.
