Bug: confirmation overwriting from zip file

Post by *björn »

If i go down into a zip file and copy some files to the target window, I don't get a question to confirm overwriting.
If source is not inside a zip file, then I get the question.

Using TC 6.0

Copy from inside a zip file will show the extract dialog where you can enable or disable confirmations.

OK I missed that, but:
This checkbox should take it's default value from the configuration just as the normal copy/move do, I don't see any real differance between the two.

The next step could perhaps be to use the same dialogs.

No, this is a separate checkbox to avoid that you get confirmations for external unpackers if you don't want them. Btw, by default this option is ON.

My opinion is still that it woul'd be better that this default value was taken from the configuration-options instead of using the value from the last time you ran the command (could be a very long time ago). 8)

But I do admit that it was no bug

By the way I was using internal unzipping, if it matters.
