Hi all,

Just DLed new Total Commander v6.0 !

Thanks Christian for new feature that shows speed and time estimate when copying files !!!

I (and many others asked for this in past and now we have it - GREAT !

Yes, I agree! But is there a limit when speed and time is shown?

When I copy locally to network it doesn't show.

Seems to me that it depends on the lenght of the file/duration of the transmission, that it shows up.
Just try to copy a huge file to a network drive - for me it always works fine!

IMHO too: a great feature :D.

And would it be possible to change the way of showing this info in the backgound copy dialog?
If I copy big amount of very small files I cannot see it because it uses the same text label to show filename/speed info.

It should be visible all the time, e.g. in upper right corner.

hmm, I tried copy a 860 MB file to a netfolder with a driveletter and UNC path. No speed and time is shown.

Something is wrong there...

Did you activate background copy?

I use Win XP pro and a Win NT 4 server.

And yes I tried background copy and if a do a quick pause and resume,
speed and time is shown in background window.

I even tryed it with 6.01 beta 2.

If I copy the other way, net to local drive. Speed and time is shown.
