BTW, default setting is to create thumbnails using plugins, so Imagine will be used here.
Only If Imagine is the first listed pluging for the particular filetypeso Imagine will be used here

Try and put this in your windows registry:
Or do the following:
Start imagine.exe -> Options -> Shell extension... -> Support context menu in Windows Explorer.
You also have to enable Imagine as default viewer for the filetypes you want preview for in context menu: Options -> File associations... -> mark the types you want.
In the latest Work In Progress version, you don't have to associate Imagine with the filetypes, you only have to enable "Support context menu in Windows Explorer". You can find the WIP version here: http://www.nyam.pe.kr/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=2932#p2932
Code: Select all
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Imagine]
@="{57B47F62-4EE4-4BED-A897-2C63198B876F}"
Start imagine.exe -> Options -> Shell extension... -> Support context menu in Windows Explorer.

I can't help you if it is a Windows 7 problem.
Apparently there is a bug in Imagine, so that if you add or remove a file association for Imagine, the setting for Shell extension is deselected - you have to set it again.
I will report this at the Imagine forum.

I noticed something using the Imagine plugin (WinXP SP3):
When I try to change the behaviour of the mouse, it's not saved.
Only when I start TC with "admin" rights, the plugin saves these changes.
But then they are only available for the "admin" user...
Interestingly, it does remember when I change the language, even for the "limited user".
Is there an INI file that I can edit to get my preferred mouse-mode as a limited user?
Thank you!
