Right click on the icon in the button bar. Select Change and then Tooltip. Is this what you want?

If I understood well...
You can write a so long text in the lower "Tooltip" field, in the buttons settings dialog... Then, the "balloon" risks to be very long...
I think that TC uses the Win tooltip features, and the text lenght does not seem limited...
It should be better to get a long text as two rows, but I don't know the process in TC (maybe it's impossible?).
In HTML, it's possible for a picture info-text. In that case, I write both wrapping characters to get a new row ( #10 = full line and #13 = wrap to next row...). Note: isn't the real full codes, because that doesn't work here!
I hope that somebody else knows how to transpose this in TC???
Otherwise, we have to ask for an option to Ch. Ghisler...
Note: a fix text under the icon (caption on the interface itself) exists in some softwares, but in TC, there is no free space enough...
Now, I saw that you'ld want for this... Instead, a longer tooltip display might be the one thing that you could get - perhaps-
