Colors by file types, new search template is not in list

Post by *MVV »

Open colors by file types dialog, press Add, Define, setup new preset and save it, close search dialog - in Add dialog there is still no new preset, it appears only after reopening this dialog. Maybe TC should refresh list on close search dialog?

Cannot confirm either. I used two different ways to save the new preset, and in both cases it showed up:
1. Click on "Save button" (this asks for the name, and closes the dialog)
2. Click on the last tab and save it there, then close the search dialog via Cancel button

Are you using any redirect options?

I cannot confirm either. I even tried putting [Colors] and [Searches] in two different redirected files - it still works perfectly as expected.

Now I tested it with clean INI - when I press Save button in search dialog, TC adds preset to list, but when I save preset using Load/Save tab, and then Cancel, TC doesn't add preset to list.

It will be a bug if you pressed Cancel and TC add it to preset list

It works here...

Do you click the "Load/Save" tab, then press the "Save" button at the bottom of the window between the "Load" and the "Delete" buttons - Write a name, press "OK" and thereafter the "Cancel" button at the right side of the window between the "Save" and the "Help" buttons?

Algo:
1. Press 'Define colors by file type...' button in configuration dialog.
2. Press 'Add...' button.
3. Press 'Define...' button.
4. Modify search options and switch to Load/Save tab.
5. Use Save button in bottom of the dialog.
6. Close dialog using close button (cross in the corner of the window). Not Cancel button but close button.

Maybe TC should just refresh list always after closing search dialog?

Not Cancel button but close button
With that I can confirm your report - prior you wrote "and then Cancel".

But I agree, it shouldn't matter whether the dialog is closed with the "Cancel" button or the close button.

Thanks, I can confirm that too. Strange, Close and Cancel should do the same thing...
