As pajo said, if you need testing done, just let me know.
Give-me your email. I have a new version ready to be uploaded but i'd like to test it first. Unfortunatley this version doesn't have any special new feature.

This version brings bug correction, new entry folder, some new env var and other minor features, but it is advised to all PassStore users.
Does this include a fix for usernames with a @?

You can e-mail me at: rdalmulder_at_hotmail_dot_com. :P

Yes, and other symbols also.

Sorry, I cannot find your e-mail so I am posting here. I am trying the alpha version you sent me and I get this error:
Access violation at address 7C901010. Read of address 00030571.

This happened after I changed a password on an existing entry.

I get this error too at random moments. Last time I had this when I tried to create a new entry

so I have now turned on debugging. When I have the error again, I can send it to you.

I'm also getting the error when i try to create/change entry.
That's the reason this version is not yet released.

I will look at the sources as soon as i have some free time. Thanks for reporting the bug.

Thanks for the report. It seems that this version is not yet ready!!

I've been busy with other things, but as soon as i have time i will try to correct the problems.

It's better to use the older version for now....

For me it is no problem to have these bugs for now, I have more joy than problems from your plugin :)

Just want to keep you updated on what I find. I do agree if users cannot live with these issues, it is better to use the older version.

New version 0.6 available in totalcmd.net

Post by *djorge »

Hi all,
It has been 3 years from the last update. Sorry for that, but i think that somehow i've lost the motivation. During this time i had always use the plugin and missing some crucial features. Last december Trpimir Blaževic' J (aka Sony) ask me to do some changes in the plugin but the problem was that there was some problems regarding memory leaks in the encryption/decryption that consume a lot of time to analyse. So, to implement the features i was missing in the plugin i had to rewrite all the code regarding the encryption/decryption or search for a framework
to do this job.

I decided to use crypto++, and now all the problems regarding encryption/decryption are gone :), and the compatibility with older xml databases is there which was crucial for this move.
Now, i can concentrate on new features.

A lot of fixes and changes were done. A lot of tests were done by Trpimir (thanks again) since last december until today in every new feature and fix that was implemented.
This new version is much more stable in every aspect, i mean, i had never had an memory exception like in the past during the encryption/decryption with this version.

The plugin should work with old databases with no problems but i really recomend to make a backup first.

So, if anyone out there is still using this plugin you can download the new version now in totalcmd.net in http://www.totalcmd.net/plugring/Pass_Store.html
