directory history list contain more 26 items

ghisler, can you make that directory history list can contain more than 26 directories? Many users (from Russia ) want to see more entries (or/and user-configurable length of directory history list)!.

so nothing has changed since then?

suddenly (after many years ) I found that longer directory history list would help - needed to find a directory which I visited today and history list was too short. 6-10 extra entries would save an hour of browsing...

started to search for solution and got this topic.

You can write a script (in any scripting language) that collects as many visited directories as you want (even thousands). For me 5-6 items is quite enough.
