I tried DocX2RTF 3.7 on WinXP and it works fine as well,
how about share your F4Menu.ini

I have tried with Win XP and it's work.
In Win Seven still hang and doesn't load the file as parameter.

mmm, seems there are something different btween WinXP and Win7, but I have no Win7 OS so far, if you want, I can send you a debug version to track this issue.

I like your great little tool but I miss one little thing that TC provides when normal editor is used. (Second little thing that I need is already on your TODO list - custom icons for editors).

Usually I just pressed Shift+F4 and Enter to open editor w/o creating any file - editor with new untitled file was started. But when I try to do same thing with F4Menu, it warns that I need to specify filename as parameter and closes immediately.

I tried to append "" to editor's command line, it seems to work but F4Menu just started some program w/o asking (BTW it is not default editor but next one).

Maybe you can change F4Menu so it will show its window to let uset to start any editor if it its started with only "" as parameter (null filename)? It won't break any existing functional since there is no need to pass empty filename for now.

BTW I found a little bug that has place when "" is passed as parameter - in this case F4Menu passes to editor path to F4Menu.exe (that's why second editor was started - it is associated with exe)!

Yes, tested just now. In TC editor configuration dialog I have following:

Now if I press Shift+F4 and type some filename, TC creates this file and F4Menu opens it as expected. But if I type nothing and press Enter with empty Shift+F4 dialog, I can see that editor is started with F4Menu.exe path passed to it (you can use e.g. Process Explorer or some own little tool associated with exe and showing its command line - I've added such thing to prevent opening some binary files in default editor which is text editor). Actually, in this case F4Menu command line just contains trailing spaces - it seems that they are incorrectly ignored.

Also I'm using now Ctrl+Up/Down and don't believe that older versions didn't support it.

Noticed small bug. When I start F4Menu w/o parameters, it shows message box and then configuration dialog. 'Options' button has focus, in list I see that first item is selected (grayed). However, when I'm trying to use 'Modify' button I see error message 'please select an item'. Maybe you should set index to zero while loading dialog?

Also there is an mistype in Englsh language file - 'Configuratoin'.

New detect errors feature is nice but it is hard to determine which editor has given index - in program list there is no index column.

And one interesting thing. Language file has a lot of old 'Icon' strings (also new 'Icon file' strings). Is it true than such feature will be added soon?
