it would be nice to get an option to select an network interface for data transfers in local LAN f.e.
my laptop is connected with LAN via LAN cable and WLAN. mosty it automatically use WLAN for data transfers to other computers which is very slow.

That's rather a system tweak than a task for a file manager.
Open "Control panel" - > "Network and sharing center" -> "Manage network connections"
From the main menu(press Alt) select
"Advanced" -> "Advanced Settings..."
Tab "Adapters an bindings"
In the upper listbox "Connections" mark your WLAN connection and move it down below the LAN connection.
