WINCDM.SQX contains a change of the detect string. All supported file extensions with the exception of text and html file extensions are added (attention detect string has to be less than 2048 characters!)
TXQ_ALL.SQX contains a reg file. This reg file can be used as a pattern if you want to change the default view of specific file extension e.g. file extension WLX, WFX, WDX and WCX are added to program view.

Thanks for response.
BTW I had though that there is some error in SC forum with languages changing until I've realized that I have cookies switched off in my Opera. I've allowed my favourites sites cookies to be stored only too many months ago.
Sorry for everyone for bothering.

DDL: TXQ_ALL.ZIP and WINCMD.ZIP
TC plugins: Autodesk 3ds Max / Inventor / Revit Preview, FileInDir, ImageMetaData (JPG Comment/EXIF/IPTC/XMP), MATLAB MAT-file Viewer, Mover, SetFolderDate, Solid Edge Preview, Zip2Zero and more
2leopoldus
Explanations:
Registry settings which are contained in TXQ_ALL.SQX configures TXQuickView how a file will be shown i.e. hexview, textview, exeview and so on. This feature is implemented in TxQuickView.
With detect-string which is contained in WINCMD.SQX you can choose the file extensions which TCmd will call TxQuickView to show the specific files. This feature is implemented in TCmd.
You have to modify your WINCMD.INI manually. Please look for the section
[ListerPlugins]
There should be an entry e.g.
47=%COMMANDER_PATH%\PLUGINS\wlx\TxQuickView\TxQuickView.wlx
Copy the xx_detect string coming with WINCMD.SQX and change xx to 47. Of course 47 is an example only. Please take your number. After that you can modify the detect string to your needs. Remove all the extension which TxQuickView shouldn't handle. Add extensions which TxQuickView should show. Please note the detect string length is limited (appr. 2048 characters)

Sorry for my stupidness, but I don't understand something very essential in your explanations
What is the "detect-string which is contained in WINCMD.SQX"?
Besides there are two obviously different versions of files TXQ_ALL.SQX and WINCMD.SQX in this thread: one pair a code blocks is in your post of 15/02/2008 and another pair as attached to tbeu's post of the same day. Which do you mean in your last post?
Thank for your patience.

2leopoldus SQX is an archive format like ZIP. Both (my SQX and tbeu's ZIP) should contain the same WINCMD.INI - if not then it is not important because the contained entries are only examples. This WINCMD.INI contains the mentioned detect-string
WINCMD.INI wrote:XX_detect="MULTIMEDIA&(ext="SCX"...

Help with TxQuickview please
I'm a noobie with sqx files , but the string posted has no plain text so I'm confused with the instruction:
"Copy the xx_detect string coming with WINCMD.SQX "
If I copy the machine text will it do any good? Thanks in advance.
