Can't run totalcmd in W2008 Server R2 (64bit)
Hi,
I a version of totalcmd installed locally that i execute remotely in every remote machine via Remote Desktop Connection. This way i only have to install totalcmd one time and the configuration is always the same.
This method works fine all the 32 bit windows machines that o usually use.
Today i tried to run totalcmd from a Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise machine and i got the error "The application was unable to start correcty (0x0000000). Click ok to close the applciation".
I'm not sure if this is related with the plugins that i have installed. I'm pretty sure that totalcmd works fine 64 bit environment.
Can anyone help me to figure out what is going on?
Regards,
David

I have troubles with TC under W2K8 R2 via RDP too. TC crashes often, sometimes after start, also when I open network.
But I think it is hard to find and fix such bugs because Mr. Ghisler needs W2K8 R2 for this task.

I can install Server 2008 R2 and test it here under Vmware, I have a subscription to MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) with access to all operating systems.
2MVV
Could you give me an example of when it crashes?

It's possible that the Windows security settings prevent you from launching EXE files on remote network drives. Can you try to launch some other program this way, e.g. notepad.exe?

ghisler(Author), I remember that there was some unpredictable crashes, with and w/out error messages (one of them was mentioned above - but sometimes I can click Yes and continue to work and sometimes it shows computers in network w/o crashes), I haven't work on that server last month. But TC is installed there into my user profile and is started locally.

Try gpedit.msc. Maybe the following is enabled:
