Batch "mass" file move

Post by *xtrips »

Hello,

How would you move large amounts of files from different folders and to different folders in sequence and not running in parallel?
In parallel they slow each other of course.
I am not referring to writing a batch file.
More like a graphical way to do it in Total Commander. Maybe a plugin?

Thanks

You can use the queue: F6 for move, then F2 to add them to the queue.

To avoid copy/move in parallel (even in background), just use the Background Transfer Manager of TC.
BTM will queue all copy/move jobs and process them in sequence.
