Win7x64, using RC7.56 or TC8b12 - 32bit.
Sometimes when selecting a drive from the drive listbox using the keyboard, it requires an extra ENTER to be pressed in order for the drive to be actually selected. I don't know if it is a TC bug (for some reason it doesn't seem so to me) because it happens in TC 7.56 too.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Yep, vary rare. I was asking years ago in this german thread but there was no solution. A restart of Total Commander only resolves this problem til next time.Has anyone else seen this behavior?
GoFi wrote:Yes, maybe so, go figure. I guess it's an annoyance we'll have to live with.Maybe this is an interrelation with other programs.
Thanks for the info.

Some users had this problem - it was caused by some third party software which installed a global hook for secure password input, but didn't handle it correctly. Therefore TC didn't receive the correct windows keyboard messages (some where missing).
Do you use any kind of password manager? If not, you should check your system for keyloggers and worms...

I use Oubliette but i've always used it. It has never caused such an issue under XP, however now i'm using Win7x64, so i guess it's not the same. If i face this issue again, i'll start closing programs to see it it is cured...
