Thumbnails?

Post by *pjbw »

My current file manager is minimal but it has one good feature. If I mouse over a graphics file a thumbnail preview and a summary of the Exif data (if there is any) appears under the cursor.
It works for .gif, .jpg, .bmp.
I am sure something like this is implemented somewhere in my trial version of TC.
So far I can only open the file or else see its ASCII code.
Do I need a plugin?
[Windows 7 Professional 32 bit, TC version 7.56a 32 bit.]

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I thought I was in the English forum:
Total Commander Forum Index -> Total Commander (English)!

Babelfish: "Times accepted, you press Strg+F, select the ftp connection (with stored password), do not click however not on connecting, but fall down dead."

Please be so kind as to move my help request to a forum where it can be answered; thank you.

I think I will be sticking with PowerDesk in conjunction with BreezeBrowser.
I have trialed Xplorer2, XYplorer, Directory Opus. Total Commander was the best but 'fallst tot um' (?) on its graphics file handling.
