One panel pack

Post by *Octagon »

Sometimes it is necessary to have both the archive and the files in the same folder while packing or unpacking. Currently I have to open a tab in another panel, do packing, and close that tab.

Why not to add a check box or a button to the pack dialog that will place the archive in the current panel folder?

Currently F6 is not supported when unpacking. Why not make it do the same thing as F5, only not to the opposite panel but to the archive folder, when unpacking?

I just use Ctrl+Alt+F5 to pack to the same panel. Unpacking is Alt+F9 then i hit delete to remove the path, it unpacks in the same panel.

...but you need to configure Ctrl-Alt-F5 for cm_PackFiles first.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

thanks roman. That's correct. I have CAS+F5 configured to cm_packfiles too for "move selected files into an archive in the same panel" too. Cheers.

I still think that at least a new command cm_PackFilesSamepanel would be useful.
