Viewer panel and search list mismatch

1. Turn on the viewer panel with Ctrl-q
2. Go to some folder and do search with Alt-F7. There must be some files found.
3. Press Feed To Listbox in the search dialog
4. Now the cursor is on the first file in the box and the view panel still shows the folder information.
5. Press Up Arrow or Down Arrow - the viewer panel starts to display the selected file normally.

It is a little imperfection, I guess.

May i use this thread for a related question please...

for my interest i reproduced this. I'm still learning the complex user interface of TC.

After i fed the files to list box, how do i return to the previous folder?

e.g. when in folder C:\a\b\c and then using Alt+F7 -> feed results to listbox

When i use alt+left arrow or the left arror commandbar button (which is probably the exact same function) i end up in C:\a\b\

how do i return to C:\a\b\c?

ESC doesn't work... I'm sure theres something

Unfortunately I could not reproduce your problem, sorry.

I tried to prepare 2 screenshots to show what I see, and discovered that a) I cannot attach them to a post and b) when I see the search results as a list in one panel and the folder stats in the other panel and press Alt-PrntSc, I get the correct image of the TC window in Clipboard and the quick view panel changes to the lister view of the first file in the search results. This happens with the latest beta on Windows 7. Same thing happens with 6.51 on Windows Server 2003.

I also tried to start search with Alt-F7 when quick view displays a file. After I press Feed To Listbox, I have the cursor in the listbox on the first found file and the content of the file the cursor was at before the search in the other panel.

If i is not reproducible, let it remain a mystery since it is a very minor glitch.
