Hi,
For many years I have used inireloc.exe to save my ini files in folders on my D drive. Resently I migrated my D drive to a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus (Network Attached Storage). All my computers have the same share mapped to drive D.
OS is Win7 64 bit. TC is installed in C:\Programs\TC
TC appears to work fine with this setup, any configuration, position or ftp changes are saved.
The problem is, when I install TC8 (any beta) either 32 bit or 64 bit, I get the error: Could not create ini file dir! The ini file location will not be saved. I click OK, the installer finishes and newly installed version of TC seems to function fine. I have not tried TC7 (since I have had the NAS setup).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dennis

You may get this error if the file is located on a network share which has not been connected yet. Then the installer is unable to access the ini files, but TC shouldn't have any problems.
