I observed that windows are smaller in version 8 (64 bit) compared to older 32 Bit verison 7.56a. E.g. in configuration menu, some items are cut off. Here a screenshot:

(at right 7.56, at left 8.0)
I already have chosen a smaller font then for dialog-boxes then usual as otherwise there would be even more items cut off.
Can I adjust settings to avoid this?

Hi Steffen!
For me it looks like you've changed the general display size of screen elements and fonts in the Windows control panel (don't know the official English option name right now - German: Systemsteuerung > Darstellung und Anpassung > Anzeige > Text und weitere Elemente vergrößern oder verkleinern).
It's up to Total Commander how to handle this system setting. I will try here, too.
Greetings
Gerby
[Update]
Here (Win 7 x64, TC 8.0ß17a 32-/64-bit) the dialog box is also adjusted in size according to the Windows setting. So I cannot confirm.
BTW the English setting name: Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Make text and other items larger or smaller

Sorry, cannot reproduce. Maybe the two use different ini files, and the one has OverrideDPI set, while the other doesn't.
