Remove Registry Settings Reliance

Post by *TetleyK »

Would it be possible to remove the reliance on the registry settings for Win_ftp and win_cmd?

I use TC on a USB stick only and moving the USB stick to a new computer without the registry settings means that TC ignores the location of the INI files which are in the totalcmd folder on the USB stick and tries to locate the files in c:\Users\xxx\Application Data\GHISLER.

This is a bit of a pain.

Would it be possible for TC to firstly look in the folder that the totalcmd.exe file is located for these files and if they do not exist there then to check the registry and fianlly default to c:\Users\xxx\Application Data\GHISLER.

Thanks

Mark

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Searching for UseIniInProgramDir did the trick, thanks.

Since I had no idea that this key existed, posting in the bug section was not appropriate. It was a suggestion.
