For most (all?) of them it is not needed since there is proper group in Configuration window.

Color of InactiveFocus, TreeLineColor and ThumbnailFrame parameters can still not be set from the config dialog.

This is actually possible by putting a $ sign in front of the value, e.g.
Colorname=$E0E0E0

using explorer functions for calculating the space of directories...

What Explorer functions?

installing a 64-bit program not in C:\Program files\

TC installs the 64-bit version to the same directory as an already installed 32-bit version, so they can use the same key and (if using relative paths) the same plugins.
