7.56a and higher versions: problem with backgroud operations

Hello,

I still have problems with getting the target panel content while a backround/queue copy operation is in progress. Turning on the option EXE/LNK not on net helped a little but even with this option the browsing in target panel is almost impossible. I've tested WiFi (802.11n) and wired 1Gb connection. I've copied some files from Dell Latitude E6510 to my PC via Asus RT-N56U(WiFi) or 3Com switch (1Gb). Window 7 64 Ultimate on both PC. I use UNC paths, the .INI was default during tests.

1Gb (EXE not on net ON) - usable, but still slow
1Gb (EXE not on net OFF) - very unresponsive
WiFi (EXE not on net ON) - very unresponsive
WiFi (EXE not on net OFF) - unusable

Is there anything what can I do to improve browsing in the net target panel during backgroung/queue operations? Now I am not able to take advantages of these operations in network environment

EDIT: I have network autotuning off because of stability.

You can try to limit the transfer speed when using F5 - F2 (background transfer manager).

@ghisler> I'll try, thanks. Is it possible to give a lower priority to background processes to get better response from the main window? It really seams that background copy allocates all bandwidth for itself and the main process suffers from insufficient network resources.

After some fiddling with router and NIC settings I can work during background operations at last. But Speed limit is a must. Thanks again for that tip.
