FTP changing source file Date

Is it possible to stop ftp from changing the source file date?

Hi breich!

You mean keeping the date of the source file when copying it? Just check "Preserve file dates" in the Download dialog (after pressing F5).

He probably means the "sync" tool - no, this cannot be turned off. You need to use a server which supports the sending of the timestamp with the file, then TC will not need to change the local file date.

Yes, I do mean the sync tool.

Thanks, for the information. When I connected via a tunnel and did a sync I had no problems, but with just FTP function within TC, then the source file date changes.

Do you have control on what server is used on the target machine? If yes, try to use a server like Pure-FTPd (Linux) or FileZilla Server (Windows).
