Move files, but leave directories

As I didn't found a function to just move files out of a parent folder but keep the directory structure, I would suggest such a function.

It can be just an checkbox in the move/copy dialog.

I need to move out logfiles from a folder which has many subfolders that should stay there for new logfiles, this would help a lot.

Or did I missed such an option?

Doesn't F5/F6 -> Only files of this type -> *.log work this way?

In the field "only files of this type", you can specify what files to copy, also in subdirs.
Examples:
*.txt *.doc will copy only text and doc files
*.* | *.bak *.old will copy everything except for bak and old files
*.* | somedir1\ somedir2\ will not copy files in subdirs named somedir1 and somedir2

I do it this way:

- CTRL+B to show directory 'flat'
- CTRL+F10/F11/F12 to show full or narrow down list of files
- CTRL+NUMPAD+ to select all files
- F6 to move
