get the same directory etc in the other panel

Post by *louwin »

If, for example, I have D:\One\Two\Three on the right hand panel, I can click on the the left panel and then on the "d" button and the left panel will show the same as the right panel. :)

If I have an address on a Network Neighbourhood on the right panel what do I press on the left panel to get a duplicate display of the right panel?

Clicking the "Network Neighbourhood" button just starts the dialog on the Network. :(

I want to go straight to where I am in the right panel without having to navigate my way back to where the right hand panel is.

Sorry if this is a bit convoluted

I have made a button on the button bar for that with the command cm_MatchSrc

This is the same as in the menu -> Commands -> Target=Source

CTRL + right arrow or CTRL + left arrow
opens the same folder in the other panel if you are standing inside folder

Or cm_TransferLeft, cm_TransferRight.

But theese commands open folder/archive under cursor in inactive panel, not exactly the same as louwin asked.

I'm afraid this just swaps the panels around :(

I did this too and it is EXACTLY what I wanted :)

This is also great for keyboard control :)

Thanks to you both :D

Actually command 'Source<->Target' swaps panels while 'Target=Source' really opens same folder in inactive (target) panel.
