[TC 8.0 x64] Maxized window mode not preserved over sessions

Post by *alik »

1. Start TC 8.0 x64 RTM on Win7 x64 SP1, the window mode is "normal"
2. Maximize the TC's window
3. Close TC
4. Start TC again

The TC starts again in the "normal" window mode, instead of "maximized".

Worked correctly in TC 7.57a.

2b. Menu: Configuration->Save Position
Worked correctly in TC 7.57a.
I doubt that it worked as you expected (without step 2b.) in any TC version.

Indeed TC never remembered its position automatically, you need to to that manually via Configuration menu as HolgerK suggested.

I see, sorry for the wrong expectation.

I were most probably inclined to a misunderstanding because:
1) I expected that behvaiour as it is a widely used industry standard.
2) Have the TC maximized after startup for years and after the upgrade the TC started to appear non-maximized. (the upgrade was to another directory, but with the same setting files; and using the same shortcut, just with the changed paths).

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
