File Sorting Criteria

Post by *daeg0002 »

Is there a way to set up the sorting criteria for files in a TC browser so that it matches the windows criteria???(unfortunately I have to switch back & forth)

For Example:

Total Commander Sorts these folders like this...
16-Guard\
17-Master\
18-Print Reviews\
19-Meetings\
1-Chem\
20-Manuals\
21-Kits & Accessory\
22-PKE\

Whereas Windows Recognizes a string of numbers and sorts like this...
1-Chem\
16-Guard\
17-Master\
18-Print Reviews\
19-Meetings\
20-Manuals\
21-Kits & Accessory\
22-PKE\

Oh, that's easy. I thought I would need an addon like it did when I wanted to move the Total Commander ".ini"config files to a backed up folder.

Not sure why I missed it when I went through and set all my options. Thanks a lot! :)

No problem.
I wanted to move the Total Commander ".ini"config files to a backed up folder.
You don't need an addon for that (actually, I haven't even heard of it). You can simply copy the configuration files to any backup folder you want. And if you don't know, where TC keeps them, take a look in TC's About dialog.
