Hello, whytea.

Can you be bothered to give us a link to an ACB archive or to a page explaining what it is?
Cannot remember having ever come across an archive file on my Linux systems which had the extension .acb.

Kind regards,
Karl

I don't know a whole lot about it. Google didn't help much.

All I know is it's a file created on Unix/Linux with mkimage. It contains a few .gz files within. When I did a "file" on the file, it told me the file was an ACB archive.

Hello, whytea.

I have not knowlingly come across any .acb file on Ubuntu so far, nor on Redhat. The images created by mkimage which I know are ISO images. These can be opened by 7zip. Maybe 7zip will be able to handle .acb files as well.

Kind regards,
Karl

whytea,
Well, I only know the packer called Associative Coder by Buyanovsky which, however, is not related to Linux at all.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
