Counter Rename-Tool

Post by *spooky0815 »

Hi,

The counter [C] in the rename tool does not consider the offset on the right hand side (e.g. "starting at 4").

Kind regards,

Not confirmed. If I set it to start at 4, the first inserted value is 4 and the following ones are increasing appropriately. Can you give us an example of what you see?

Hi,

I tried again... it works with the normal counter [C]

But not for counter with static width (e.g. width 4 --> [C:4]). Here the counter starts with 1, no matter which starting value.

Sorry for the first post.

spooky0815,
If you define options within [C], like [C:4] they take precedence over what you have defined in the configuration fields to the right. So either you configure the counter wholly by hand in the name field or you select the options in the configuration fields. No mixing possible.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for your hint. So please see my problem as a "request" for further improvements ;)

Kind regards.

spooky0815, don't think it is so hard to write [C4:4] instead of just [C:4].

The idea is that you can have more than one timer in a name - one with just [C], and an unlimited number with parameters within the [C:] field.
