Additional shortcut

Post by *sis »

Hello,

I would like to request an additional shortcut to copy the complete UNC path including the element (file or directory) that is currently selected to the command line.
Background is, that I have to send quite often a path e.g. of a file via E-Mail to users who do not have the servers share mapped to a drive letter (which I have). Therefore it would be very helpful for me to get the the complete UNC path including the servers share and the rest of the directory togehter as one line that I would then be able to copy and include into the mail or another application.

Thanks, sis

Hi sis,

You can easily configure this yourself in TC:

- Preferences -> Configuration -> Misc
- Choose a Hotkey combination (I use Shift-F12)
- Assign command cm_CopyNetNamesToClip
- Click the green checkmark
- Presto!

You will notice when browsing around in the possible command there is a lot more interesting stuff that could be used in a hotkey combination.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
