Hi all,
- Fresh .ini or fresh .ini with [Lister] Uniscribe=0
- Open [Czech] Earthlings.srt
- Does your Lister look like mine - using different fonts on different lines?
Using "125% DPI" and "XP style DPI scaling" font settings under Windows 7.
TIA
Roman

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Re: Different fonts in Lister?
Hello, Hacker.
But my test may not be meaningful, because it was done under
+ Total Commander 8.01 rc3 32-bit on
+ Linux Mint 12 "Lisa" 32-bit using
+ Wine 1.2.3 in Windows XP mode
Cheers,
Karl

Hello karlchen,
Thank you very much. I have edited my original post to add that I use larger fonts by default. Not sure if any such setting might affect this under your Linux installation, though.

Hacker, does it looks in a similar way with 100% scaling? Maybe you need some font to be used in currently choosen view mode? As I see, you have ASCII mode enabled (Encoding menu is disabled). Currently TC tries to use Fixedsys and Terminal fonts.
Tried it with 125% (dumb Windows requires to re-login), and font looks in the same way. It seems that it is a font problem: it is not a TTF font so can't be scaled correctly. But Notepad shows file w/o bug.

MVV, nsp,
Thank you very much! I guess I will need to try at 100% DPI to check, also try to use a different font.
Thanks again

This sounds plausible. The question is - can this be solved in any other way than changing the font?MVV wrote:It seems that it is a font problem: it is not a TTF font so can't be scaled correctly.
