TC "Metro" icon

Hi if somebody finds it useful, I made myself a "metro" style TC icon aka WIN8 icon

But because this is my firts post here, I am not able to post a full link to psd file

Not bad but you can't use native apps in a Metro tile.

You would have to write a Metro launcher for Total Commander - but I don't know whether Metro apps can launch Desktop apps...

AFAIK - no way.

You can associate TC with an otherwise unused extension, e.g. .TotalCommander. Then use this launcher class:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.system.launcher%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

to launch
c:\path\dummy.TotalCommander
