I have an issue where Total Commander is not finding encrypted files in the AppData folder under my user name. If I do a search specifically on the AppData folder, the encrypted files are found. However, if I choose any of the parent folders or even the entire C drive, the files are not found.
I've played around with the other attributes in the search box (hidden, system, etc.) and it made no difference. I've also set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders and to not hide protecting operating system files as well, just in case.
I'd love to purchase this program but it won't do me much good unless I can figure out how to easily do a search.

Hello, bs13690.
Open the search dialogue by pressing <Alt><F7>. In the first tab "General" make sure that the option named Search in Subdirectories has been set to All (Unlimited Depth). (It is a drop down list).
HTH,
Karl

yes, I think this need a revisión, because in the search filter you can choose Hidden files but if is not marked "Configuration/Opitions/Show hidden/system files" the search ignores the filter.
May be if "Configuration/Opitions/Show hidden/system files" is not marked the filter for hidden files shoud be disable or hidden.
